This is the quilt I made to be auctioned off at the Wiscon Tiptree auction: I've got pictures of 35 former Wiscon GOHs, plus Kate Wilhelm and Jane Yolen, this year's GOHs. Hope it raises lots of money. I'm already thinking about a quilt for next year....

I didn't know, or had forgotten, that you were a quilter. We should go pillage fabric stores together some day.

Nice quilt!

This is only my second quilt (the first was blocks of handprints from the kids in YG's preschool class). I would love to go a-pillaging some time!

Impressive. I love quilts, and am seriously talentless in the field. One of my college classmates who lives in Princeton and with whom I stayed when speaking there one year is a prize- winning quilter. I was astonished at the range of the art.

Good on ya, Mad!

Thanks, Jane.

I don't pretend to the prize-winning end of the art--not enough patience for that. But there's a kind of cool puzzle aspect to it that is very satisfying.

Oh, VERY nice, Mad! I especially like the way you placed all the pics of the GOHs.

Thanks, Melanie. I'm waiting to see whether, or how much, it raises for the Tiptree...
