Bad News

Sandra Day O'Connor announced her resignation this morning. Try driving down a foggy street trying to explain to the nine-year-old in the back seat why you're swearing. Given the President's nominee for Ambassador to the U.N., one can only imagine who he'll nominate to the Court. Oh very dear.

O'Connor slowly turned into a moderate, which is why the Right (A) hates her and (B) wants to avoid repeating what they see as the mistake.
