In Which I'm Interviewed
Adventures Underground: Interview with Madeleine Robins...all typos and idiocy regrettably mine, but I think it turned out okay.
Life, writing, children, pedestrians, books, and the passive resistance of inanimate objects.

Alas, even if I finished the book by April 23 (Shakespeare's birthday, I think) and turned it in and my lovely editor had no changes or problems with it, it would take nine months or so to get the book into print. And that's if they had an immediate slot for it in the schedule. I'm afraid Baby CFBlog will be toddling before a new Miss Tolerance is in print. I do not do this to annoy, honestly!
That really is a lovely interview. I'm going to cross-post it to an LJ Comm I belong to that is frequented by aspiring writers (albeit many are consumed with fanfic at the moment, but it's a start).
...and, speaking of Girl Scout cookies, don't we owe you some money? Or was a long-distance purchase not taken seriously?

Shakespeare was christened on April 26; it's just a guess, though a good one, that the birth came three days earlier.
But it is universally claimed as a known fact that Shakespeare was born on April 23, where it is really not.
E and S: the cookies are en route to you. They're $3.50 a box (postage is on the house) and checks can be made out to the Girl Scouts.
Greg: yeah, I know it's an approximation, but it's the generally accepted approximation. Mighta been the 21st or the 22nd or the 17th. Probably, however, it was not the 27th.
YAY, cookies! We'll make that postage up to you when you're here next month (schedules permitting, of course).
Thank you!
Yay, next month!
